Product description

Velvet PLA is a filament created for those who refuse to compromise between aesthetics and ease of printing - a material that impresses from the very first layer with its deep color and refined matte finish reminiscent of velvet. This filament combines a premium visual effect (similar to Matte PLA or FiberSatin) with a price accessible to everyone. That is exactly why it is worth choosing.

Thanks to modified PLA, prints made with this filament feature a subtle, velvety finish. Gloss is gently reduced, while the surface remains pleasant to the touch (a “Soft-Touch” effect), smooth, visually soft and elegant. This is a material that gives prints a more sophisticated character while preserving their natural look.

Velvet PLA retains all the advantages of standard PLA - good bed adhesion, low printing temperature, minimal warping tendency and broad compatibility with popular 3D printers (e.g. BambuLab, Prusa, Creality, etc.). No special nozzle is required to achieve satisfying results. Printing parameters similar to classic PLA make Velvet PLA suitable for both beginners and advanced creators who simply want to achieve a spectacular effect without experimentation. It is the perfect choice wherever presentation matters: collectible figurines, electronics enclosures, decorative elements, props and any projects where you want the final product to look premium and professional.

RAL/Pantone

To make it easier to choose the right color variant, we provide RAL and Pantone equivalents for filaments wherever possible. The given values are approximate and are intended to reflect the actual filament shade as closely as possible.

Why not HEX?

Providing the color of 3D printing filament in HEX format does not make sense because this notation was created to describe colors displayed on screens (RGB – monitors, TVs, mobile devices). HEX defines a mix of red, green and blue light, meaning a digital color. With filaments, however, we deal with a physical material. The same filament may look different in various photos and HEX cannot accurately represent the actual appearance of the material.

Much better references are color systems used in printing and industry, such as RAL or Pantone, which are based on real samples and allow for comparison of colors in physical reality.
