ASA filament is the perfect choice for all 3D printing applications where prints need to be resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions. This material also offers resistance to high temperatures and moisture. With its high mechanical and thermal strength (up to 94°C) and ease of printing, ASA is an excellent alternative to ABS. Thanks to its significantly lower shrinkage compared to ABS, ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) does not require a heated chamber for successful printing, though it is recommended. Unlike its predecessor, ASA emits far fewer unpleasant odors. In addition, its reduced shrinkage and strong adhesion prevent warping and cracking, ensuring excellent dimensional stability of 3D prints.

Finished 3D models printed with Fiberlogy ASA can be smoothed using acetone. The material is suitable for sanding and painting, and can also be bonded with acetone.
