FiberFlex 30D
Flexible Filament with Reduced Hardness
FiberFlex 30D is our solution for those looking for a flexible 3D printing filament with reduced hardness. It’s the second material in the FiberFlex family, offering the elasticity needed to create rubber-like 3D prints. This makes it an excellent choice for any project that requires resistance to bending, compression, or stretching.
It’s important to note that 3D printing with a flexible filament of Shore hardness around 30D requires some experience and a suitable 3D printer. This exceptionally soft material, similar to TPU or TPE filaments of comparable Shore hardness, may pose challenges for beginners. Therefore, we strongly recommend using a direct drive extruder and lowering the print speed. Reducing the extruder pressure may also help achieve successful print results.
For other flexible filament options with higher hardness than 30D, check out Fiberlogy FiberFlex 40D and Fiberlogy MattFlex 40D.
