More Than Just a Base

HIPS filament is a base in both meanings of this word: its properties allow it to be used as a basic filament and also as a support for other materials.

When printed on its own, HIPS produces lightweight, visually appealing models with a matte finish. It can be sanded and painted with acrylic paints, giving every model or miniature an elegant and refined look.

Alternatively, you can use it as a support material for complex prints with large overhangs or unconventional shapes. After printing, simply immerse your model in a D-limonene solution – the HIPS will dissolve completely, leaving behind your final, clean print.
