Antibacterial Filament for Effective Microbial Protection
Fiberlogy CPE ANTIBAC is an innovative antibacterial 3D printing filament that combines high mechanical and thermal resistance with biocidal properties. In terms of heat resistance, it surpasses other polymers from the same family, such as PET-G or PCTG, offering durability up to 110°C and resistance to UV radiation, chemicals, and lipids.
CPE ANTIBAC is odorless and free from BPA, BPS, and styrene. Its antibacterial effectiveness comes from silver nanoparticles, which provide reliable protection against microorganisms. Microbiological tests confirmed the bactericidal activity of both the filament fibers and 3D-printed parts. Results showed a 100% reduction in Escherichia coli and a 92.4% reduction in Staphylococcus aureus. In repeated tests, the effectiveness reached 100% and 97% respectively. Thanks to its unique properties, Fiberlogy CPE ANTIBAC is ideal for applications exposed to microbial growth, such as plastic components in public spaces, laboratory equipment, and clinical accessories.
