We use cookies and other similar mechanisms to learn how users interact with our Website and for marketing purposes, including displaying advertisements to them in other locations across the Internet.
What Are Cookies?
A cookie is a small text file stored by a website on your computer, phone, or other device you use to browse the Internet. A cookie contains data about your use of that website.
Some cookies are essential for our Store to function and cannot be disabled.
In all other cases, when you first visit our Website, we ask for your consent to install cookies. We do not use advertising or analytical cookies (or any other cookies that are not essential) without your consent.
What Cookies Do We Use?
- Essential Cookies
- These cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the Website. You cannot disable them because if you do, our Website simply will not function correctly.
- In this regard, we use a tool that stores your privacy settings. It records whether you have granted or withheld consent for the activation of specific types of cookies on our Website.
- Other essential cookies on our Website are used to ensure its correct operation and to manage it-for example, to make changes to the site and to enable tracking tools for which you have given your consent.
- Statistical Analysis of Our Website
- We use tools that collect analytical data, which allow us to understand how users interact with our Website. The data we receive from these tools does not identify a specific person by name, but it enables us to record various aspects of a given user’s activity on the Website. We may aggregate and statistically analyze this data, then use it to make decisions about changes to our Store and/or the way we conduct advertising and marketing communications.
- A list of analytical tools used on our Website-including (1) the provider of the tool, (2) its specific purpose and (3) the type of data collected-can be found in Appendix No. 1 to this policy, as well as briefly in the cookie consent management panel.
- Advertising Cookies
- We use advertising tools that allow us to display our ads on other websites you visit, including on social media platforms (so-called targeted ads), measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and tailor the content of our messages to the information we have about you.
- In our Store, we offer the option to subscribe to our newsletter. In this case, cookies are used to embed the subscription form on our Website and measure the effectiveness of sign-ups via that form.
Modern email marketing systems allow us to combine analytical data from mailing campaigns with analytical data from the Store. We may use this combined data to optimize the content of messages sent to newsletter subscribers. - A list of advertising tools used on our Website-along with an explanation of (1) who provides them and (2) their specific purpose-can be found in Appendix No. 1 to this policy and briefly in the cookie consent management panel.
- Functional Cookies
- Some cookies on our Website enable additional Store features, such as a chat function, a product review and/or star rating module, the option to recommend a product to a friend, or the ability to display products you have recently viewed in our Store.
- A list of functional tools used on our Website-along with explanations of their specific purpose-can be found in the cookie consent management panel.
- Social Media Plugins and Links
- Our Website contains links to our profiles on social media platforms: Facebook / Instagram / TikTok / LinkedIn. If you visit our profile on a given platform, the owner of that platform will receive information (just as they would when users click from any other website to another) that you accessed their platform from our Store.
- Details about how these social media platforms process data can be found on their respective privacy policy pages::
- Facebook & Instagram - https://www.facebook.com/privacy/center/
- TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/eea/privacy-policy/pl-PL
- LinkedIn – https://privacy.linkedin.com/
- Videos
- Some videos on the Website are embedded using plugins from YouTube (a service owned by Google). When you play such a video on our Website, Google receives this information from your browser-even if you do not have a Google/YouTube account or are not currently logged in. If you are logged in to the service, the provider can directly link the video playback to your profile.
- If you wish to prevent Google from collecting information about your activity on our Website, you can:
- choose not to play the video (giving consent to play one video will be treated as consent to play other videos on our Website until you withdraw it in your cookie preferences),
- refuse cookies from this service in our Website’s cookie consent panel, or
- log out of your Google/YouTube account.
- More information about YouTube’s data processing can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy.
Legal Basis for Using Cookies
The legal basis for the Store’s use of essential cookies (as described above in "What Cookies Do We Use?") is our legitimate interest, namely the right to operate a Website that supports our business and the need to maintain its security.
The legal basis for the use of all other cookies is your consent.
In connection with our processing of your personal data via cookies, you have the rights outlined in the section Your Rights Regarding Data Processing.
Our use of cookies-especially for advertising purposes-may involve profiling. This means that we or the marketing companies we work with may create a user profile based on collected information (e.g., email address, order history, device type, technology used, frequency of visits) and use it to predict future purchasing behavior. This allows us to decide what content (including ads) to display on our Website and on other websites.
How Long Do Cookies Stay on a User’s Device?
This depends on whether the cookies are "persistent" or "session" cookies. Session cookies-necessary for browser functionalities to work properly-expire at the end of a user’s session, i.e., when you close our Website. Persistent cookies-which make using the site easier (e.g., remembering your chosen resolution, content layout, user preferences, recently viewed products)-are stored by your browser for a longer period and remain there until their expiration date, unless you delete them earlier via your browser’s settings.
Third-party cookies (analytical, advertising and social media cookies) are subject to the privacy policies of their respective providers, to which we link in this policy.

You may object to this type of processing of your data at any time. If a subscriber remains inactive for 1 year, we may stop sending the newsletter. In such cases, we will remove you from our subscriber list (with prior notice).

APPENDIX NO. 1 TO THE FIBERLOGY STORE PRIVACY POLICY
- LIST OF ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICAL TOOLS USING COOKIES
- Analytical Cookies:
- We use Google Analytics
- Google Analytics collects information about users such as: how many times a user visits the website; which subpages they visit; the date of the first and last visit; visit duration; the site from which the user accessed the website (referral source); the browser used; the link clicked; the user’s approximate location; the anonymized (shortened) IP address; and more.
- Google assigns its own identifier (known as the Google ID) to each user and stores data from cookies collected across various websites on its servers. We, as the Website owner, may only receive reports (statistics) from Google regarding traffic on our Website. These reports cover only visitors who have given their consent on our Website for Google Analytics to record their visits.
- For more detailed information on how Google Analytics works, visit: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.
- You can also permanently prevent Google Analytics from collecting information from your browser by installing a special plugin available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- We use Hotjar
- This tool records user behavior on the Website, such as navigation patterns, scrolling activity, cursor movement, approximate location, device type, operating system and browser type. The collected data is processed in aggregate and anonymized form for the purpose of improving how our Website functions.
- For more information on Hotjar, visit: https://www.hotjar.com/privacy/.

- The provider of the software that powers our Store-namely, the owner of the shoper.pl platform-places cookies on our Website to collect aggregated information on how customers use online stores (pages visited, time spent, products viewed, clicks, analytical purchase data such as conversion rates).
- This data is used to produce aggregated reports for store owners, containing only general (non-personal) information such as which products are popular, seasonal trends in traffic or sales, etc. This helps store owners (including us) improve their stores and optimize sales processes.
- For full details, see the Cookies Policy for Visitors to Shoper Stores.
- We use Google Analytics
- Advertising Cookies
- We use Google Ads and other Google advertising tools
- Google stores data collected from cookies placed on your device. This data is gathered across all sites where you have consented to Google’s use of cookies for advertising purposes (including our Website), as well as from ads you have clicked on. Google uses this information to display ads on other websites you visit. Typically, Google cookies expire after 3 months.
- As advertisers using Google services, we do not have access to cookie data stored on your device. However, we can target ads to audience groups with characteristics we choose, e.g., all users who visited our website (or a specific subpage) in the last 7 days. We receive only statistical data and ads are targeted based on aggregate criteria (specific audience segments, not individual users).
- We may also use tools (as part of the Google Marketing Platform) that measure advertising campaign effectiveness (e.g., how many people clicked a given ad within a specific time frame).
- Learn more about how Google uses cookies for ads and how you can manage your ad settings here https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads & https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7549925.

- If you consent to the use of this cookie on our Website, Meta Platforms will receive information that you visited our Website. This information will be linked to your profile on these services if you have one; if not, it will be linked to a generated "Facebook ID."
- This allows us to target ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have already visited our Website or specific subpages (remarketing). We receive only statistical data from Meta Platforms about the effectiveness of ads (e.g., how many people saw our ad, how many clicked it) without reference to specific users.
- If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, we encourage you to read more about their data protection policies: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/?entry_point%3Ddata_policy_redirect%26entry%3D0&sa=D and https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388.

- If you consent to the use of this cookie on our Website, LinkedIn will receive information that you visited our Website. This will be linked to your profile if you have one; if not, it will be linked to a generated "LinkedIn ID."
- This allows us to target LinkedIn ads to people who have visited our Website or specific subpages (remarketing), measure ad conversions and tailor our LinkedIn communications to the general profile of our Store’s users.
- If you have a LinkedIn account, you can read more about their privacy policy here: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy. Learn more about the LinkedIn Insight Tag here: https://www.linkedin.com/help/lms/answer/a427660/the-linkedin-insight-tag-faqs.
