FiberFlex Aero
FiberFlex Aero - Control Over the Foaming Level
FiberFlex Aero is a filament that allows you to tailor the properties of your 3D prints by adjusting key printing parameters such as nozzle temperature, material flow, and print speed. The active foaming agents embedded in the filament are activated by heat, expanding their volume several times over. The result is a material that is both exceptionally lightweight and highly durable, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
FiberFlex Aero enables you to:
- reduce the weight of the finished print by up to 50% while maintaining its overall volume;
- adjust the hardness of different sections of the model by changing print settings layer by layer, allowing you to create, for example, a hard, abrasion-resistant outer shell with a soft, vibration-damping core;
- achieve a Soft Touch surface with a matte, foam-like finish;
- reduce filament consumption by up to 50%, depending on the degree of foaming.

Where is FiberFlex Aero used?
- Orthotics & Rehabilitation: orthoses and custom orthopedic insoles
- Sports & Recreation: grips, protective pads, helmet components, and sports equipment
- Drones & RC Models: shock absorbers and landing gear components
- Automotive: seals, bump stops, and vibration-damping elements
- Footwear: insoles and shoe soles
