Perfectly Smooth Finish

FiberSmooth is a PVB-based material whose greatest advantage lies in its ease of post-processing. It can be smoothed using isopropyl alcohol (IPA). When the printed model is immersed in or exposed to IPA vapors, the outer layers partially dissolve, allowing the surfaces to bond more tightly and effectively conceal layer lines. The result is a glossy, porcelain-like finish.

Printing with FiberSmooth is comparable to printing with PLA. It is a user-friendly filament, ideal for beginners. However, since its layer adhesion is somewhat weaker, we recommend using a higher bed temperature to prevent detachment. PVB has minimal shrinkage and is odorless, making it a pleasure to print with.
