PETG V0

Flame-Retardant PETG Filament

PETG is the perfect balance between printability and strength, which has made it one of the most popular 3D printing materials. Products such as Fiberlogy EASY PETG or ESD PETG are great examples of this versatility.

PETG V0 expands Fiberlogy’s range of FDM/FFF printing materials. It belongs to the FR (Flame Retardant) family—materials with reduced flammability. This filament meets the UL94 V0* self-extinguishing standard, meaning both the filament and printed parts are non-flammable and resistant to direct flame exposure. When ignited, PETG V0 self-extinguishes in less than 10 seconds. This makes it ideal for manufacturing electronic housings or mechanical components used in vehicles and machinery.

Despite its flame-retardant properties, PETG V0 remains as easy to print as standard PETG. It does not require an enclosed printer or a hardened nozzle. However, to ensure the best print quality, it is recommended to properly dry the filament before use. Like other copolyesters, PETG V0 is highly hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the air. Printing with a moist filament may result in brittle and visually flawed models.

*The filament is not certified by Underwriters Laboratories and does not have a UL number.

Tips and recommendations

Possible bed damage: Due to strong adhesion to the surface, printing directly on the bed or glass is not recommended, as this may cause damage. We recommend using adhesives or masking tape.
