FiberSatin

Semi-Matte Filament with a Subtle Shine

Fiberlogy FiberSatin makes your prints look like they weren’t made on a 3D printer at all. The strong layer adhesion and slightly glossy, matte appearance help conceal the typical imperfections of additive manufacturing, such as visible layer lines. This semi-matte filament is a great choice for those seeking a refined, elegant finish that serves as an alternative to silk-type filaments.

In addition to its unique visual qualities, FiberSatin stands out with its distinct texture. Its surface feels similar to a filament reinforced with carbon fiber, giving it a pleasant roughness that diffuses light and produces a gentle sheen. FiberSatin is as easy to print as standard PLA – you can simply use the Fiberlogy EASY PLA profile for reliable results.

This semi-matte filament is perfect for decorative applications, such as vases, phone or jewelry stands, and holiday ornaments. However, due to its relatively low heat resistance and lack of UV stability, it is not suitable for outdoor use.

Ingeo PLA

Top-Quality Raw Materials

NatureWorks is a U.S.-based company and one of the world’s largest and most respected producers of biopolymers, primarily polylactic acid (PLA). Their flagship product, Ingeo™ PLA, is made from renewable plant-based resources such as corn starch. This polymer stands out for its consistent composition, low impurity levels, and excellent control over physicochemical properties, ensuring the high quality of the final product – 3D printing filament. NatureWorks PLA provides exceptional processing stability: it doesn’t clog the nozzle, maintains a stable melting temperature, and has minimal warping, making it ideal for both beginner and advanced users.

Tips and recommendations

Possible bed damage: Due to strong adhesion to the surface, printing directly on the bed or glass is not recommended, as this may cause damage. We recommend using adhesives or masking tape.
Filament swelling: During loading and printing, the extruded material may show swelling. This is a completely natural effect caused by the surface tension of the polymers in the filament.
