Top-Quality Raw Materials
NatureWorks is an American company and one of the largest and most renowned producers of biopolymers in the world, primarily known for polylactic acid (PLA). Their flagship product, Ingeo™ PLA, is made from renewable plant-based resources such as corn starch. This polymer stands out for its consistent composition, low impurity levels, and excellent control over physicochemical parameters, which guarantees the quality of the final product – 3D printing filament. NatureWorks PLA is highly stable during processing: it doesn’t clog nozzles, has a consistent melting point, and is minimally prone to warping. This makes it an ideal material for both beginners and advanced users.
As an alternative to silk filaments, FiberSatin stands out with its semi-matte finish, which perfectly hides the boundaries between the layers of 3D prints. Thanks to this, the finished model gains a more noble appearance.
How to print FiberSatin?
The following parameters are only suggested print settings for this material. To ensure the best print quality, it is necessary to choose the appropriate settings for a specific printer and printing conditions.
Nozzle Temperature | 200-230°C |
Bed Temperature | 50°C |
Closed chamber | not required |
Fan | 75-100% |
Flowrate | 95-105% |
Printing Speed | <60 mm/s |
Surface | Smooth PEI Textured PEI Glass |
Drying conditions | 40°C / 4h |
Notes | Due to the strong adhesion, damage to the bed surface (eg PEI) may occur. We recommend printing on a tape. |
Diameter | Diameter tol | Oval tol | Printing temp | Table temp |
