NatureWorks is an American company and one of the largest and most renowned manufacturers of biopolymers in the world, specializing primarily in polylactic acid (PLA). Their flagship product is Ingeo™ PLA, made from renewable plant-based raw materials such as corn starch. This polymer is distinguished by its homogeneous composition, low impurity levels, and excellent control of physicochemical parameters, which guarantees the quality of the final product—3D printing filament. NatureWorks’ PLA is characterized by high processing stability: it does not clog the nozzle, has a stable melting temperature, and minimal susceptibility to warping.
