FiberFlex 40D is a flexible TPU filament with a Shore hardness of 40D, which allows for fast and precise 3D printing at speeds of up to 45 mm/s without compromising print quality. This material is designed to make printing flexible models simple and convenient—the filament feeds easily, and the layers bond perfectly, ensuring durable and aesthetically pleasing prints.
FiberFlex 40D stands out for its high resistance to impact, abrasion, low temperatures, and chemical exposure, making it suitable for a wide range of applications—from hobbyist projects to professional models requiring flexibility and durability.
The filament is available in a wide range of colors, allowing you to match the material to any project.
For users looking for other flexible filaments, Fiberlogy also offers FiberFlex 30D—a softer version of TPU—and Fiberlogy MattFlex 40D—a matte, flexible filament with similar hardness, ideal for achieving non-glossy surfaces.

NOTE
FiberFlex 40D may release a small amount of powder during printing; this is a natural characteristic of the material and does not constitute a product defect. This phenomenon does not affect the quality of the filament or the printing process itself. If you notice a significant amount of powder buildup, we recommend periodically cleaning the printer components, as this buildup can, over time, interfere with the proper feeding of filament into the extruder.
-
Shore hardness of 40D
A hardness rating of 40D indicates a flexible yet stable material, ideal for gaskets, washers, and shock-absorbing components.
-
High impact strength at low temperatures
High impact resistance is maintained even at low temperatures, so the print won't crack when struck in cold weather.
-
Very good thermal resistance
The material retains its shape and strength even when exposed to heat.
-
High chemical resistance
Its chemical resistance makes the material suitable for use in industrial environments.
-
Abrasion resistance
The print surface does not wear off even with intensive and frequent use.
-
It could be a 7-fold increase
The print can be stretched up to 7 times without cracking, which allows for great flexibility in various applications.
