Fiberlogy PLA+CF is a 3D printing filament in which classic PLA has been enriched with 10% carbon fibers. As a result, the material offers higher stiffness, mechanical strength, and an attractive matte finish that effectively hides print layers and gives models a professional look.
PLA+CF retains all the advantages of traditional PLA—low shrinkage, dimensional stability, and ease of use—while delivering significantly better mechanical properties. This makes the filament ideal not only for decorative prints but also for functional technical parts and prototypes.
The carbon fibers not only give the filament strength but also a matte, carbon-fiber finish that highlights the character of the models and hides layer lines. As a result, the prints are both functional and visually appealing.
Fiberlogy PLA+CF is an excellent choice for:
- functional prototypes,
- components requiring increased stiffness,
- technical parts with moderate requirements,
- aesthetic prints with a carbon finish.
Due to the abrasive properties of carbon fibers, it is recommended to use hardened nozzles (e.g., steel).
Fiberlogy PLA+CF is a great alternative for users who want stronger and more professional prints than those produced with PLA, without having to resort to more demanding materials such as carbon-fiber-reinforced nylon.
