PCTG and CPE HT – specialized copolyesters from Fiberlogy

FIberlogy PCTGThe range of Fiberlogy products has just expanded with 2 new filaments – PCTG and CPE HT. They are characterized by above-average properties that will certainly be appreciated by 3D printing users looking for material for demanding applications.

PCTG is an alternative to traditional PET-G. It is characterized by excellent impact properties. Although it is almost as easy to print as Fiberlogy EASY PET-G (requires only a higher temperature – approx. 260 ° C), PCTG offers much higher impact strength – up to 20 times greater than traditional PET-G filaments. The new filament is also able to withstand higher temperatures (up to 76 ° C). Fiberlogy PCTG is currently available in 7 colors.

How to use Fiberlogy PCTG:

  • Printing temperature: 250-270 ° C
  • Bed temperature: 90-110 ° C
  • Closed chamber: not required
  • Fan: 25-50%
  • Print speed: <100 mm / s
  • Surface: masking tape, PVA glue, hairspray

CPE HT is a high temperature resistant copolyester. It is able to withstand up to 110 ° C. Fiberlogy CPE HT has many properties of polycarbonate, with the difference that it does not contain BPA, BPS or any other bisphenols. It is also much easier to print than PC filaments, as it is characterized by high dimensional stability and resistance to shrinkage.

How to use Fiberlogy CPE HT:

  • Printing temperature: 260-280 ° C
  • Bed temperature: 100-120 ° C
  • Closed chamber: not required
  • Fan: 0-25%
